Crowns And Bridges
A Crown is a type of dental restoration which completely surrounds a tooth and it is cemented on to it.. Crowns can by made from many materials, porcelain being used in the cosmetic areas of the mouth. Crowns are used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth. A bridge, or fixed partial denture, is a dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by attaching them to adjacent teeth or dental implants. Bleaching or Whitening
Bleaching is a process that removes stain and discoloration from the teeth. The bleaching agent can be applied by a dentist at a dental visit, or self applied at home. Due to the safety and simplicity (not to mention the lesser cost) of the procedure, I prefer the self applied method of delivery, and all the information that follows pertains to that technique.
